Twitter is NOT a Social Network says twitter. What do you think?

I agree Twitter is not a social network it's a public announcement board & valuable Alerting Service when needing to get the message out about some important news but it's quite difficult to have a true exchange of ideas & conversation when there is such a typing limitation but it's great to point out links for conversations to be about or to get the word out quickly about something that needs to have attention paid to it
